Preschool
Ages 3 years to 5 years
At A Child's World, learning centers for math, science, imaginary play, music, art, and computers provide both shared and independent learning opportunities.
Learning centers encourage
self-reliance and provide opportunities for children to develop their self-confidence. Children also practice their decision making as they navigate from center to center.
Preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills like sequencing and matching, social skills in similarities and diversity, and language art skills such as storytelling.
The three year olds may work independently or with the fours and fives, depending on the activities the teachers have planned. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
A Child's World also offers just a preschool program from 8:00am-12:00pm daily for those families that just wish to get your child acquainted with a variety of activities to help them transition into Kindergarten. Families may choose the number of days to enroll your child, as preschool is offered Mon-Fri all year round.
