Q: How will I know what is happening
during my child's day?
A:You are always welcome to visit or call during the day, and when you
pick up your child you will receive a "Parent Note". Your child's teacher
will let you know how long they napped, how well and what they ate for
breakfast, snack or lunch. How well they potty-trained for the day, and all
the fun activities that your child participated in with their friends.
Q: How flexible are A Child's World programs?
A:You may choose the schedule that works best for you and your child.. We
have full-day programs, full-week programs, half-day programs, or just
Preschool hours. We also have a unique
"Drop-In" policy for occasional care, whether you need only one day a month or
a few hours here and there.
Q: How will I know my child is safe while I am
away?
A: A Child's World is committed to the
safety and security of the children and teachers. Along with a formal keypad
security system, we also provides the most effective security there is....
-that of a personal nature. Visitors are required to present
identification and register in a Visitors Log. Alternate caregivers
authorized by the child's parents to pick up, must present
identification before the child will be released. Also, all
parents/guardians must pick-up and drop-off their child in the appropriate
classroom.
Q: Do children go outside everyday?
A: A Child's World playgrounds are considered an extension
of the classroom. In addition to jumping, running, and climbing, teachers
may plan nature walks, picnics, camping days, water play and other learning
opportunities. Weather permitting, children play outside everyday.
Q: What kind of help is available for families
that cannot afford the cost of childcare.
A: A Child's World directors can help you with all the
different programs that are available for families who do not want to work
just to pay for child care. A Child's World offers discounts to
families who are full or part time, and have more than one child
enrolled.
