13 Months to 24 months

Hi, My name is Miss Jenica and I am currently the T1 Teacher. I have lived in the Girard area since I was 11 years old. I am currently 22 and I will graduate from Edinboro University with a degree in specialized studies. My degree consist of courses in: Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Special Education, Psychology and Social Work.

In the toddler one classroom we do alot of art! This is our favorite way to learn. We go over the alphabet, numbers 1-5, colors and shapes. We work on drinking from sippy cups and sleeping on mats, to get ready for the 2 year old room. We also sing alot of songs. We even get instruments out to play with!

My goal is for the classroom to be developmentally appropriate and enjoyable for the children!
