PRESCHOOL

Our Preschool program is for 4 and 5 year olds. Our Preschool Teacher is Miss Monica. Miss Monica has been with ACW for 4 years. She currently holds a CDA in childcare. Miss Monica is currently working on her degree in Early Childhood Education.

The preschool curriculum include areas to develop the whole child. We encourage each child to try their best and to learn at their own pace. Our Preschool program runs Sept thru May. We offer PRE-K classes from 8:00am -12:00pm. The Children will be involved in "Circle Time" activites, including letter sounds, letter and number recognition, sign language, early reading, sequencing. In addition to the circle time activites the children will work on reading, writing, early math, early science, and early social studies. The curriculum is very hands on, exciting and fun! Your child will receive a "report card" every 9 weeks or so. This is just to let you know the progress they are making towards the next big step of KINGERGARTEN!

During the summer months, we explore all the fun things we can do in the summer, we learn about the ocean, fish, zoo animals etc.
